EASY MARKER EV+ operates on glass panels in vertical position — the standard configuration of insulating glass lines, IGU lines and all glass processing operations with vertical transport — and can be installed directly in-line with vertical glass washing machines, insulating glass lines, drilling systems and any other machinery in the vertical glass production cycle. The system delivers a controlled, stable abrasive jet precisely synchronised with the vertical panel feed cycle — ensuring fast, accurate markings integrated into line cycle times even in high-cadence repetitive production. Adjustable installation positioning along the line and compatibility with any existing vertical machinery make EASY MARKER EV+ a universally integratable solution, with no structural modifications to the production line and no impact on cycle times. The vertical marking gun configuration and mechanical height adjustment system ensure correct mark position on the panel regardless of the glass format being processed.
Custom stencils
The EASY MARKER EV+ marking system uses custom wear-resistant steel stencils, designed and produced in-house by Fratelli Pezza to each client's specification for every application. Prior to production, a 1:1 scale graphic proof of the mark to be engraved — company logo, manufacturer mark, regulatory code, serial number or any other identification content — is provided for client validation and approval. Stencils are manufactured in highly abrasion-resistant material with optimised service life, reducing replacement frequency and lowering the cost per mark over time. The stencil is rotatable, ensuring maximum flexibility of mark positioning on the glass panel in vertical configuration. The exclusive L-E Protection treatment enables safe marking on particularly delicate surfaces — Low-E glass, high-performance functionally coated glass and mirrors — significantly reducing the risk of surface coating damage during the abrasive marking process: a particularly relevant function on insulating glass lines, where Low-E glass is a standard component of the vast majority of production.
Precise and repeatable marking: complete mechanical adjustment for vertical configuration
EASY MARKER EV+ integrates a complete mechanical adjustment system specifically optimised for vertical configuration — gun stroke, return, working height and stencil alignment on the vertically-positioned panel — allowing precise adaptation of the marking process to different panel sizes, marking positions and glass thicknesses, while maintaining uniform and consistent marking quality across the entire stencil area, panel after panel. The SQ LINE UP positioning system — the positioning bracket dedicated to vertical configuration — is available as an optional accessory to maintain constant mark alignment and absolute position repeatability across multiple panels, eliminating positioning errors and reducing setup times between production jobs.
Permanent marking on every type of glass in vertical processing
The controlled abrasive jet through a steel stencil delivers a sharp, permanent and time-resistant marking on any type of flat glass processed in vertical position: float glass, tempered glass, laminated glass, insulating glass (IGU), fire-resistant glass and coated mirrors. Abrasive jet marking operates through controlled mechanical abrasion with no heat input on the glass surface — eliminating the thermal stress and microfracture risk that laser glass marking can generate on functionally coated glass, Low-E glass and high-performance thermal glass typical of insulating glass and IGU production. The result is an indelible, tactile mark, resistant to chemical washing and weathering — fully compliant with the identification, traceability and regulatory certification requirements of EN 12150, EN 14449, ANSI Z97.1 and CFR 16 for construction glass.
Touch screen programming and vertical marking cycle automation
The EASY MARKER EV+ touch screen interface allows fast setting, storage and recall of all marking parameters — abrasive jet duration, cycle timing, marking cadence — reducing setup times between production runs and minimising operational error. The adjustable digital timer precisely controls abrasive jet duration for each specific stencil and glass type combination, ensuring consistent engraving quality and optimal stencil protection against premature wear. Marking can be activated manually via foot pedal control or push-button control, or in fully automatic mode through direct interconnection with other vertical line machinery — ensuring perfect synchronisation of marking with the glass feed cycle on the insulating glass or IGU line, without operator intervention and without production cycle slowdowns.
Automatic abrasive recovery and integrated dust filtration
The integrated abrasive management system of EASY MARKER EV+ combines automatic recovery and waste dust filtration to ensure operational continuity, workplace cleanliness and optimised consumption costs — even on high-cadence continuous vertical production lines. The filtration system collects and retains residual marking process dust, maintaining ambient conditions within the limits required by industrial dust safety regulations. The automatic abrasive recovery mechanism separates still-performing particles from exhausted ones, returning active abrasive to the circuit until fully consumed — reducing consumption, limiting waste and lowering the operating cost per mark over time.
Production monitoring and Industry 4.0 integration
EASY MARKER EV+ integrates production monitoring functions — including a mark counter and stencil service life tracking — and is equipped for digital interconnection in compliance with Industry 4.0 requirements. The machine can communicate with the company management system (MES/ERP), enabling complete marking data traceability for every panel produced, remote diagnostics and predictive stencil maintenance — a particularly relevant capability for insulating glass and IGU producers operating on large volumes, structured commissions and international quality certifications.
